HON. ARTHUR B. BRISKMAN
THE HONORABLE ARTHUR B. BRISKMAN is a United States Bankruptcy Court Judge for the Middle District of Florida, at Orlando. Previous to his service in Florida, from 1985-1993, he was a United States Bankruptcy Court Judge for the Southern District of Alabama. His appointment to the bench followed a six year stint as counsel to the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary. While on the bench, he has been a member of both the Committee on the Administration of the Bankruptcy System and the Committee on the Judicial Branch of the Judicial Conference of the United States. Judge Briskman was awarded his B.S. (Business Administration) from the University of Alabama in 1969 and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in 1972.
